Have been designing for The Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) since October 2024. Below you'll find some selected works from my time at CHRIM.
Brand Guidelines
These are some refreshed brand guidelines. The previous document was quite dated. It was only a few pages long, had outdated graphics, and did not include anything about clearspace requirements, a brand overview, a brand voice, or accessible colour combinations. As part of the refresh I made sure to include these items, along with making a clean and modernized version with a clickable table of contents page. Below are some selected pages from that refresh.

Child Health Research Days
Each year CHRIM hosts Child Health Research Days, an academic conference where speakers are invited to speak on a selected topic. The theme and design is different each year. Below you'll find designs for two years. The first theme was on climate change, so the design was a simple, photographic approach to allow viewers to connect with the material. The second theme is on the maternal-child health life cycle, from birth to pregnancy. This theme was cyclical. Each colour represents a different aspect of the life cycle.

Signage and Stickers
Below are some examples of signage and environment design. The first two images are of our lobby. To sprucen it up, make it more on brand, and make it funner for children (we are a child health research facility so kids are often here) I created some stickers in Illustrator using our brand assets and stuck them around the lobby. The next image is a poster for a PRIME speaker, using their branding. Next is an example of signage around the office — one of my mini-projects was creating on brand signage to replace the ad hoc word document signs everywhere. The last four images are of some contact information that had to be put on various lab equipment, clean and on brand.
